We had our first Christmas with Isabella, something that was very special. Our first Christmas together as our own little family. Christmas Eve was spent with Jochen's family, as that is when the Germans typically celebrate Christmas. We made a starter of Brushetta and an entree of cocktail prawns and everyone was so full that we didn't get to the roast meats and salads that were to come until about 10.00pm that night. Christmas Day lunch was at Mum's and we had the most wonderful feast, followed by presents and then Mum's very yummy Christmas Pudding. Big pig that I am I had two serves. That night we were meant to head back to Jochen's parents but we were both so tired and full that we decided to stay at home instead.
This photo of Bella was taken as we were unwrapping our presents at Mum's, she just loved being surrounded by all the wrapping paper. Next year she may actually be a little more interested in the presents that she receives.
Oh and don't blame me for the clothes that she was wearing on the day... her Aunty Kell dressed her and thought that she looked wonderful. Can't say that I really agreed but then I still think she is gorgeous no matter what she is wearing.
